Neil Taylor happy to fight for Swansea place

Neil Taylor is happy to fight for his place at Swansea City.

Taylor saw his first action of the season in a Football League Cup win over Peterborough on Tuesday.

"Every single one of us has a battle on. The manager has said he wanted two in every position and he's got that," the fullback told the South Wales Evening Post.

"There's strength all over the team in different areas. After losing Ash (Williams) they want to bring in a new centre-half, then you'll have two everywhere.

"Both wingers played very well on Tuesday night as the two did on Saturday so there's a battle on everywhere all season, which is good."
