Almeria striker Alvaro Negredo has played down interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa.

He said: "I don't think the time has come to make the step to the Premier League.

"I know several Spanish teams are interested in me, but I will only start to think of leaving Almeria if a really interesting offer would permit me to grow."
