Alvaro Negredo has ended all speculation over his future by penning a new deal with Sevilla.

Negredo had been linked with Tottenham and former club Real Madrid leading up to the winter market.

"There was no need to convince me. The parties were in agreement, they called to tell me would do it today, we wanted to and we are all very happy. It was all very quick," smiled Negredo.

The new deal runs to 2016 and carries a buyout clause of €50 million.
