Juventus chief Pavel Nedved is driving their bid to win the race for Arsenal captain Robin van Persie. El Mundo Deportivo says Van Persie has already rejected enquiries from Barcelona and PSG since the end of last season.
Juventus are now battling Manchester City for the Dutch ace and are relying on Nedved to convince the striker about life in Turin.
Nedved met with Van Persie last week for talks before the Euros kicked off, eager to sell the positives of moving to Juve to the Gunners star.
Only yesterday, Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood refused to guarantee Van Persie staying this summer with new contract talks now on-hold until after the Euros.
