Juventus chief Pavel Nedved is delighted with the addition of former Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
Nedved admits they had been chasing the Argentine for some time.
"We talked to Carlos a long time ago," he said. "He still has a lot of desire to play football and to do well.
"You can see that enthusiasm in the way he has been training with us.
"Great players, once they have won a lot, need new motivation, new targets and I am happy that he has arrived.
"He instantly demonstrated that he wanted to join us and I liked that a lot."
