Alireza Jahanbakhsh is set to reject a summer move to Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 21-year old Iranian winger is looking to leave Dutch club NEC Nijmegen in a bid to make the step up to a higher level but does not want to play in the Championship according to his agent.
Brighton made a £1.7million offer for Jahanbakhsh, who held talks with the Seagulls, but will not be making his way to the Amex Stadium anytime soon.
"Alireza wants to develop further and the style of play the Championship has will not help him," said the former Damash Gilan star's representative Amir Hashemi.
Jahanbakhsh is also attracting interest from Premier League returnees Norwich City, Scottish champions Celtic and Belgian side Anderlecht.
