NEC Nijmegen are strengthening their ties with Manchester City.

NEC technical director Carlos Aalbers was in England this week to visit City facilities and discuss their plans.

"The talks are good," Aalbers told Voetbal International. "There is a document in which NEC will be officially a partner club of Manchester City, but that does not mean anything. It's what you do with it. It's why it was good to reconnect again."
