N'Diaye reveals Di Canio changed up Sunderland tactics

Sunderland midfielder Alfred N'Diaye has revealed how new manager Paolo di Canio has shaken up their tactics.

N'Diaye was signed in January by previous boss Martin O'Neill.

The Frenchman was at pains to avoid criticising the man who brought him to England, but he says Di Canio has changed the way the team prepares for matches.

The midfielder told the Sunday Sun: "The new manager is different to the previous boss.

"We have done a lot of tactical training over the last week.

"I do not want to say Martin O'Neill was a bad manager - they are both good managers, just with different approaches - but we are all enjoying it."
