Former Sevilla midfielder Jesus Navas is excited about his move to Manchester City.

He revealed his Spanish pal David Silva helped to make up his mind to leave his boyhood club and try his luck in England.

He said: "We get on pretty well and a long time ago, when he found out I was coming here, he was very happy. I know he enjoys the city and the club.

"Now I have the confidence I can play here and I'm very happy to be at such a big club.

"Everything about English football is exciting. It's fast, it's end-to-end. It was my idea to come to the Premier League and enjoy this kind of game."
