Samir Nasri says he's happy to fight for his place at Manchester City.
The midfielder has seen Fernandinho and Jesus Navas arrive to add to the competition for places
"The season is long and there will be matches every three days," said Nasri.
"I'm not afraid of competition - it makes it better. And ask Didier Deschamps. I'm not sure he will want players at the World Cup who play 70 games this season - it will take freshness. We'll see.
"This season, I'm really hungry. I have gone on as first replacement in every game. Being a substitute does not worry me. I had a discussion with Manuel Pellegrini and I'll see what happens. Anyway, his training sessions are really something! I will do anything he asks."
