Samir Nasri says Manchester City players know they must not be influenced by the antics of Carlos Tevez.
The FA Cup-winners began life without Tevez with a 4-0 romp at Blackburn at the weekend. And new boy Nasri said the squad understood the club's hardline stance to suspend the Argentine.
The Frenchman said: "After we got back the manager had a meeting with the players. He explained the situation and everything was fine.
"We understood the decision but we don't want to get involved too much. We just want to move on and play our football.
"That's what we do best so we'll focus on that."
