Samir Nasri praised Manchester City teammate Carlos Tevez for setting up his winner against Chelsea.

Tevez came off the bench and his cute pass on the edge of the area played in Nasri as City came from a goal down to win 2-1 and claim a crucial three points in the title race.

"I am really happy for him (Tevez)," Nasri said on Sky Sports 1.

"He has showed great spirit and today showed he can be really important until the end of the season.

"It's good that it was him who gave him the assist."
