NASA technology aids Crystal Palace winger Zaha in recovery

Crystal Palace are pulling out all the stops to ensure that influential winger Wilfried Zaha is back before the end of the season.

Palace need Zaha back and in good form if they are to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

And it appears the club have turned to technology from NASA as part of his rehabilitation from a knee injury.

Zaha was working on anti-gravity treadmill, which is NASA tech that helps athletes training at a lower intensity so their body can recover. It ensures they do not pick up a stress-related injury while in rehabilitation.

The machine can be adjusted to 20 to 100 percent of the player's bodyweight, and a session is usually 30 to 45 minutes.
