Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne has revealed details of his pep talk from Italy coach Cesare Prandelli during victory over Malta.
He came off the bench in the second half of the Azzurri's 2-0 World Cup qualifier against Malta and showed off a box of tricks down the left flank.
"It was hugely emotional to make my senior debut aged 20. I'm very happy with how the game went for the team and for me," said the Napoli talent.
"Prandelli told me to play the way I know how, as I already tried these movements last season at Pescara.
"Malta did very well tactically to clam up and we tried to win in every way possible.
"It was wonderful to hear the fans calling my name and I'm happy with my performance.
"I dedicate this debut to my family, who were in the stands, and my girlfriend back home."
