Manchester City are ready to make a swap bid for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani. The Daily Mirror says Napoli are prepared to accept Dzeko as part of a deal which would see Edinson Cavani heading to Manchester City in the summer.

The Uruguay striker, 26, has a £53million buyout clause in his contract and is also being tracked by Spanish giants Real Madrid.

If Dzeko were to head to Italy as part of the deal the cash sum involved could be reduced to £35m.
