Sandro Mazzola has backed Napoli to move for AC Milan chief Ariedo Braida.

Braida has been mentioned as the new sports director at Napoli following last month's sacking of Pierpaolo Marino.

Mazzola said: "I've known Walter Mazzarri for a long time. He has always done well and is good at working mainly with the minds of players.

"Braida to Napoli? Ariedo is a serious person who knows football and players. He would be a great addition for Napoli."
