Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne is thrilled to be back in Pescara with the Italy U21 squad.
The 21-year-old Napoli striker spent last season on loan in Pescara, helping them to the Serie B title and promotion to the top flight.
“Returning to Pescara with the Under-21 side is very exciting and I am so happy with this call-up,” Insigne told Tuttosport.
“The Coach expects a lot from me and I want to give my contribution to win our place in the Euros.
“I have the right motivation to do well and for two years we have been working with great Coaches like Ciro Ferrara and Devis Mangia.
“Now we must all give our best to achieve this objective and play the European Championship.”
