Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne accepts Giuseppe Rossi and Mattia Destro will be angry he beat them to a place in Italy's World Cup squad.
Insigne was selected ahead of Fiorentina striker Rossi and AS Roma's Destro by coach Cesare Prandelli.
"It's only right that those who were left out made a few tweets, as their anger is understandable, but I just focus on working hard and repaying the Coach for his faith in me.
"The decisions were made by Cesare Prandelli and it's not up to me to comment on those choices. I am very happy to be in the final 23 and hope to give my contribution when called upon."
