Napoli have returned to talks with Benfica this week for midfielder Hassan Yebda.

The Algeria playmaker wants to leave Benfica after an impressive loan spell at Portsmouth last season.

Napoli have revived negotiations after cooling their interest for a fortnight as they focused on the Europa League.

During that time, Palermo and Lazio joined the race for Yebda, but Napoli remain favourites for his signature. The Azzurri want to take Yebda on-loan with the view to a permanent deal in 12 months' time.
