Napoli star Lavezzi happy to end year-long scoring drought in Udinese win

Napoli attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi was delighted to be on the scoresheet in victory over Udinese.

Lavezzi's strike ended a year-long drought in front of goal.

"Being a striker, I know that I have to increase my goal tally, seeing as it was such a long time since I had scored here," said the Napoli star.

Pocho's last goal on home turf was precisely a year ago, when Milan won here 2-1, but he netted a sensational volley to beat Udinese 2-1.

"I scored tonight and it was really pleasing, but above all I am satisfied when I manage to help the team, whether I get on the scoresheet or not.

"Udinese are very strong this season and we played against a very tough opponent, but we played our style of football. It had been a while since we'd managed that."
