Napoli captain Paolo Cannavaro insists he's not bothered being ignored by Italy coach Cesare Prandelli.

Cannavaro, now 31, has never been selected by Prandelli despite being a regular in the Napoli defence over recent years.

"There is no sense of regret that I keep being excluded," the centre-back told Radio Marte.

"To be honest, I don't even watch the Italian national side anymore. I haven't since my brother Fabio stopped playing for them."
