Napoli and Sampdoria are chasing Chievo Verona defender Andrea Mantovani.

The centre-back has a number of admirers in the peninsula after his showings at the Bentegodi, as his agent has revealed.

"I can confirm that Sampdoria and Napoli are interested in Andrea," Graziano Battistini told TMW.

"However, until those clubs get rid of players in Mantovani's position then it will be difficult for a move to be finalised.

"Nevertheless, I do believe that Chievo are ready to listen to any offers which may be made for him."
