Napoli chief Pierpaolo Marino admits talks for Liverpool fullback Andrea Dossena have stalled.

"We have taken a break in order to reflect on this. The move is therefore on hold. There are no immediate prospects," Marino told Radio Goal.

"The President has spoken to Rafael Benitez, but there is some distance between us and the player. I wouldn't worry too much. We have to speak with Donadoni as well."

Tottenham have been linked with a late move for the Italian left-back.
