Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis insists they won't make a hostile bid for Fiorentina star Stevan Jovetic.

De Laurentiis has insisted that he won't be making an offer for the versatile attacking midfielder.

"If I didn't have so much respect for my friends, the Della Valle family [who own Fiorentina], then I would be asking them on a daily basis to sell me Jovetic," he told Radio Blu.

"He is a talented player with a long future ahead of him. None of us should move to take great players away from each other."
