Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis says Juventus must pay the agreed price if they want to sign permanently Fabio Quagliarella.
It's been suggested Juve will insist on a discount given Quagliarella's recent knee injury.
"I won't gift Quagliarella to Juve," De Laurentiis said.
"Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta signed a contract. The option price is already fixed and it will remain that way.
"I am not stupid. I wouldn't make a gift of Quagliarella."
