Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has declared Marek Hamsik has penned a new contract.

Hamsik only signed a new deal with the southern outfit in September 2010, in which he committed himself to the club until 2015.

"Will Hamsik leave Napoli? He has already signed a renewal and will remain with us, as well as Cavani who is in a great moment in Italy."

De Laurentiis also had kind words for his Coach Walter Mazzarri.

"Mazzarri is a great professional who offers something completely different from other football Coaches. I have a wonderful relationship with him."
