Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is delighted with the new deal for Lorenzo Insigne.

The young striker is extending his contract to 2017.

De Laurentiis said: "He has signed a new contract until 2017 and we improved the financial terms, without going over the top. His parents did well to raise a good boy who was also touched by football talent.

"Is Lorenzo like Leo Messi? The other night against Bayer Leverkusen he turned them inside out and they certainly weren't Serie B or Lega Pro opponents. That was real football."
