Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis says there's no panic over Walter Mazzarri's new contract.

The coach has so far refused to consider talks over a new deal.

"Mazzarri's contract was due to expire two years ago and again that time we only sat down to discuss it at the end of the season," De Laurentiis told Sky Sport Italia.

"That's what we will do this time as well. Right now his contraction is all on the squad and it would be unwise to distract him. There is no rush."
