Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has taken a swipe at Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis.

The Italian was asked about the possibility of signing Benzema and Angel Di Maria and, as part of his response, he said that the Serie A runners-up are targeting younger players.

Seemingly angered by this snub and comment about his age, the 30-year-old took to the social media.

"Another madman to add to the list," he wrote over a report of De Laurentiis' comments.

"The No.9 makes them crazy."
