Napoli president De Laurentiis: I always believed in Mazzarri
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis admits he's delighted with the impact made by coach Walter Mazzarri.
Napoli have impressed under Mazzarri and are yet to lose since he replaced Roberto Donadoni at the helm - a string of results which includes victories at Juventus and Fiorentina.
That has pushed them to 11th in the Serie A standings and De Laurentiis credits the coach with their dramatic improvement.
"The arrival of Mazzarri gave value to the squad, electrified the players and conferred enthusiasm to the whole atmosphere," he said.
"Mazzarri has been very correct, clear and honest.
"He's given trust to all the players and today there's not one part of the group who feels undervalued.
"He's a coach who protects his players and instils security.
"I've always believed in Mazzarri and I believe even more day by day."
