Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is happy to hear Marek Hamsik's commitment to the club.

He was pleased to hear Hamsik reiterate his love for the club despite a summer of links with rivals AC Milan.

"See that? Others wanted to sow the seeds of poison in our midst, but I never doubted Hamsik wanted Napoli.

"I knew he wanted to win the Champions League with us. I don't make promises I can't follow through with."
