Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis can't guarantee Ezequiel Lavezzi staying this summer.
Lavezzi has a €31m release clause in his contract that could be activated.
“Such a clause exists in a contract for players who want to be signed,” De Laurentiis said. “The fact that he wanted it means that, sooner or later, it will be used.
“We have to see whether there are any clubs who want to invest that kind of money. If the player accepts to move on then it means that his cycle in Naples is over.
“Il Pocho is in my heart, but if he felt this was no longer his home then we would let him go.”
