Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis says they've made a bid for AS Monaco wing-back Fabinho.

The patron spoke to Monaco Hebdo about his interest in the 22-year-old right-back, who is valued at €15m.

“Yes, we are interested in Fabinho. I offered €10m to Monaco in order to start negotiations.

“Now I am trying to reinforce the midfield too, having reinforced the defence with Lorenzo Tonelli from Empoli.

“We'll see what happens with Manolo Gabbiadini. I'd also like to strengthen the area of the pitch where Jose Callejon plays."
