Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis was delighted with yesterday's victory over Sampdoria.

"Today I'm pleased for two reasons. The first one is that we have had confirmation from what happened in Udine," said De Laurentiis. "It also shows how good a win it was after Udinese's victory over Juventus.

"And then because beyond having won we have played well and given a show to the fans.

"At the moment, the table does not interest me, rather what interests me is the project Pierpaolo Marino and Edy Reja are organising."
