Napoli are interested in Roma striker Vincenzo Montella.

The Italy international spent last season on-loan at Fulham, which has chosen not to pursue a permanent deal for the striker.

Napoli will seek co-operation from Roma in covering a percentage of Montella's huge wages. The forward is on £3.75 million for season 2007/08, £2.7 million for 2008/09 and £1.6 million for the final year of his bumper Roma contract.
