Napoli have held fresh talks with the representatives of Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi.

While Inter chief Piero Ausilio has stated Icardi is not for sale, Corriere della Sera says Icardi's reps, including wife Wanda, met with Napoli officials yesterday.

Napoli see Icardi as a direct replacement for Gonzalo Higuain.

Napoli's contract offer is for €5.5 million-a-year plus bonuses and image rights. An acting role for Wanda is also on the table from Napoli's move mogul president Aurelio de Laurentiis.

Inter have rejected Napoli's opening bid of €47 million for Icardi, but will sell for closer to €60 million.
