Pepe Reina has taken to social media to express his feelings on the current situation at Liverpool.
The Anfield club parted ways with manager Brendan Rodgers on Sunday in the wake of a 1-1 draw with Everton in the Merseyside derby.
Rodgers' departure has been met with positivity by many sections of Reds supporters including former goalkeeper Reina who left the club during the Northern Irishman's rein.
Now with Napoli, Spaniard Reina took to Twitter to suggest the 'old Liverpool' can now emerge following the exit of Rodgers.
I will always be a fan & all I want now is to see the old Liverpool come back for the players and the supporters who deserve the best. YNWA

There was evidently a little more to the Tweet than meets the eye as Reina felt he was forced out by Rodgers when he was initially sent on loan to Napoli back in 2013.
At the time, he wrote: “Although it was not my decision to leave I will accept it just like I have always accepted any decision that Liverpool have taken for me."
