Napoli goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis has announced his international retirement.
De Sanctis informed his Italy teammates before last night's win over Malta.
"I'm sorry, but this is my last time with the Nazionale," he told the squad and Coach Cesare Prandelli.
He chose his 36th birthday to make the decision after six caps.
