Chelsea have still not reached an agreement with Napoli over Maurizio Sarri.
The Blues are desperate to bring Sarri in as Antonio Conte's replacement.
The London Evening Standard claims a two-year contract, with an option for a further 12 months, was agreed upon with Sarri's representatives and Chelsea last week.
Other than the confirmation of Conte's exit, the only other roadblock is compensation for Napoli.
The Serie A club are demanding Chelsea pay the full the £7m release clause in Sarri's contract. This is despite Napoli already replacing the 59-year-old with Carlo Ancelotti.
