Napoli heap more misery on crisis club Juventus
Crisis club Juventus fell again last night as Napoli thumped them 3-1 at Stadio San Paolo. Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini had put Juve ahead early on but the home side hit back in the second half as goals from Marek Hamsik, Fabio Quagliarella and Ezequiel Lavezzi saw them to victory. The Azzurri could even afford for Hamsik to miss a penalty shortly after the break as the visitors crumbled.
Alberto Zaccheroni's side have had a nightmare 11 days which have seen them throw away a 3-0 lead to draw with lowly Siena, suffer a 4-1 mauling at Fulham as they were dumped out of the Europa League and lose to Sampdoria.
There appears little chance of Zac holding onto his job next season, but he insisted: "I do not think about next year, for now today is my reality. I have signed until June 30 and I am committed to reach a certain goal.
"I'm only working for that. And I'm looking for all ways to stop this bleeding.
"Of course, fate has not given me a hand in this moment."
