Napoli exploring ways of appointing ex-Roma coach Spalletti

Napoli are considering trying to get round Italian Lega rules over the appointment of Luciano Spalletti.

With Roberto Donadoni struggling to kickstart their season, Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is considering potential replacements, including former Roma coach Luciano Spalletti.

Lega rules state Spalletti cannot take another Serie A job, but Napoli could get around that by naming him 'manager' for this season before reverting to coach next term.
