Napoli defender Miguel Angel Britos is ready to move to Watford.

Watford have been chasing the Uruguay international since the end of last season.

Britos had been reluctant to accept the move, but has been persuaded in recent days and Sky Italia says the 29 year-old is now prepared to join the Hornets.

The deal will involve Udinese attacker Allan joining Napoli in a complicated three-way transfer.

Udinese and Watford are owned by the Pozzo family.
