Napoli decline to sign Man City's Balotelli as being too disruptive

Napoli owner Aurelio de Laurentiis has no interest in signing controversial Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli. The Italy international has been hitting the headlines throughout the summer with the former Inter Milan striker also stating his disappointment at life in Manchester, which has fuelled suggestions he is homesick.

Asked if Napoli wanted to sign the 20 year old, De Laurentiis told Sky Sport Italia: "Absolutely not. He is funny, but it is too disruptive and I prefer that he applies his talents elsewhere."
