Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed that Chelsea are considerably interested in Edinson Cavani.
There has been much speculation about the Uruguayan striker for the past few months but the owner of the Naples outfit made it clear that the Blues are eager although they will have to pay the £53million buyout clause.
"Chelsea want Cavani. 'Blues' will call me in the next hours about it...," he told Radio Marte.
"If Edinson stays in Napoli I will be happy. If he goes, we'll replace him using the 63 million [£53.5m] from his sale."
