Napoli coach Mazzarri non-committal over new contract

Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has cast doubt on signing a new contract.

The Partenopei want to tie their Coach down to a new deal until June 2014, but Mazzarri is not too convinced.

“I have a contract until 2013 and intend to respect it. At this moment my only focus is on the next game. If the club wants to extend my deal, then we can talk about it in the opportune circumstances.

“I want to see the kind of aggressive Napoli that started the game against Genoa before Christmas. I didn’t like the performances against Palermo or Cesena, despite the fact we won both. I talked it over with the lads and am confident about tomorrow," he said.
