Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri still believes in their Champions League chances after victory at Bari.

Ezequiel Lavezzi struck both goals in Napoli's 2-1 win.

The victory puts Napoli in sixth place, within five points of Sampdoria's Champions League spot.

They are also three adrift of Palermo, who were held to a 2-2 draw in Sardinia today.

Mazzarri said: "These are two great teams. Whoever has more points at this stage obviously has the advantage, but we are not basing our journey on anyone else.

"Let us not forget the situation we were in at the start of the season."
