Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni was satisfied after drawing 1-1 with Reggina in his first game in charge.
Ezequiel Lavezzi struck an equaliser for Napoli after Bernardo Corradi put Reggina ahead in the first-half.
"We played the first half with a great deal of timidity and fear, excessively so," commented Donadoni.
"Then we broke through that and had a good second half. We have to begin again from this point and gain belief we are a good side who can fight it out with anyone.
"First of all I must give credit to Reja's work, as he did extremely well and we must try to give consistency to that with our approach to the game, the way we did in the second half."
President Aurelio De Laurentiis hired Donadoni this week for his first job since losing the Italy bench.
"We have only been together a few days, but the fact he came here today to watch from the stands is an important sign for me and the whole team. His words before kick-off were something we needed."
