Napoli coach Donadoni not satisfied with Coppa Italia win

Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni wasn't satisfied, despite Sunday's 3-0 Coppa Italia victory over Salernitana.

"Now you'll end up saying I'll never be happy," Donadoni told journalists. "We did well, but we can do better. A lot better.

"We are nowhere near the kind of football I want to see. We need to be stronger in possession, as at the moment we keep it too central and end up favouring counter-attacks when we lose the ball."

Ezequiel Lavezzi scored a stunning goal last night and it seems the San Paolo crowd has forgiven him for the contract dispute.

"When he comes back to help in midfield, he mustn't hold on to the ball for too long. He needs to exchange passes and drive forward," insisted Donadoni.

It would have been 4-0, but Jesus Datolo ballooned a penalty over the bar just days after scoring on his Argentina debut.

"Datolo must adapt to our 3-5-2 system, as that is the shape we are using."
