Napoli coach Benitez wants reunion with Chelsea playmaker Mata

Juventus and Napoli are tracking Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata. The Spanish international's future at Stamford Bridge is uncertain, despite reassurances from Blues boss Jose Mourinho that he is in his plans.

Mata started for only the second time this season at Everton, but was unable to prevent his side slumping to their first league defeat since Mourinho returned to the club.

El Mundo Deportivo says Juventus and Napoli are looking to tempt Mata to Italy once the transfer window reopens in January.

A transfer to Napoli would see the midfielder team up again with fellow Spaniard Rafa Benitez, who was Chelsea's interim manager for the final six months of last season leading the club to Europa League success as well as a third place finish.
