Napoli coach Rafa Benitez has taken a new swipe at former club Chelsea over his six months in charge.

Benitez cannot hide his bitterness over the way he was treated by fans at Chelsea last season.

"All through my career I felt I was really fortunate, because I kept very good relationships with my clubs - Tenerife, Estremadura, Valencia, Liverpool," he told the Telegraph. "Chelsea, though, brought a special set of circumstances."

On Jose Mourinho's recent expressions of distaste for Chelsea's style of play under Benítez, he added: "I was extremely pleased with the way that my Chelsea team were playing and winning at the end."
